Sacramento County is creating a land use and transportation plan for West Arden Arcade between Cottage Way and Northrup. They are asking for ideas.
This is an important social and racial justice issue because people of color, immigrants and low-income folks are sicker in this designated “environmental justice community” due to historic and current systemic racism in the way these communities have been developed and maintained. Affordable safe and sanitary housing inventory is just one of the major issues for this area.
