Document sweeps of the unhoused - form linked here
From the Sacramento Homeless Union: We created this form to have a centralized place for people to report witnessing or experiencing a sweep. This form will aid in legal documentation, data collection, as well as organizing and activism. Please share with folks on the ground in Sacramento and or on social media.

Sacramento Regional Coalition to end Homelessness - 2022 unhoused death report linked here - The Coroner documented 199 deaths of people experiencing homelessness in 2021
The National Coalition for the Homeless has released a list of the "Dirty Dozen", meaning the worst cities in the nation for treatment of the unhoused - you can read more here - and our very own Sacramento ranked 5TH on the list. You can find a snippet on the analysis of Sacramento below.
Sacramento County's Climate Action Plan (CAP) - item 53 at the 9/27 Sac County BOS meeting was set to approve the County's CAP but the decision was delayed, the next meeting to discuss adoption will take place in November/December - read more at this CapRadio article

From the DS insta post: "We've spent many months gathering art and writing from incarcerated folks in Sac County jails to co-create our first Zine. This project aims to center and uplift the voices of those who are disappeared and deemed disposable by the state—making visible the realities of incarceration in Sacramento County while we work to prevent jail expansion and reduce incarceration through reinvestments in preventative solutions"
